Flanged Plastic-Lined Pipe
Resistoflex plastic lined pipe is made with a locked-in liner to minimize the adverse affects
of differential thermal expansion between the liner and the steel. Both processes used are
exclusive to Resistoflex.

the steel housing.

Plastic-Lined Fittings
Resistoflex manufactures thousands of different shaped plastic
lined fittings according to ANSI
dimensions. PP, PVDF, and PFA fittings are all injection or transfer
molded Tefzel® lined fittings and special shapes are
roto-lined in custom housings.
PTFE liners are made by isostatic molding. Fittings are generally
differentiated by their metallurgies.
Ductile Iron - Economical Class 150 fittings with fixed flanges
for PP and PVDF liners, and certain PTFE fittings.
Cast Steel - High strength Class 150 or Class 300 ratings for PP,
PVDF and PFA liners. Flanges are fixed.
Fabricated Steel - High performance Class 150 or Class 300 fittings with rotatable flanges used
with PTFE liners. Can be made to DIN or JIS flange dimension. Can also
be fabricated using stainless steel or exotic alloys.

CONQUEST® Connections
CONQUEST® Pipe is designed to minimize the number of flanged connections in the process line.

Valves
Resistoflex manufactures four different types of valves for corrosive services. The diaphragm
and clamp valves provide throttling capabilities, and vertical and
horizontal checks prevent backflow in process lines.

Sight Flow Indicators
Resistoflex PTFE-Lined Bull's Eye sight flow indicators are used
to observe the fluid and flow characteristics
of process fluids. Sight flows can be optionally equipped with drip lips and/or flutter flow indicators.
These products are available in 1" - 6" from Resistoflex USA and in
8" - 16" diameter as manufactured by Resistoflex GmbH. |

Reaction Vessel Components
Resistoflex manufactures dip pipes, for loading, unloading and decanting fluids in vessels

PTFE Expansion Joints
Resistoflex expansion joints are made of contour molded PTFE, providing exceptional corrosion resistance
and flex-life. The flexible liner is molded over the metallic sealing face. Different numbers of
convolutions accommodate varying degrees of misalignment, axial travel, and angular deflection
between components.

High Integrity Flange (HIF)
HIF is a family of special flanges and fittings designed to improve the
performance of plastic-lined pipe joints.
The main "working" component of HIF, the Belleville Washer(s), maintains
optimum sealing pressure at the PTFE flare faces, independent of the bolt
torque. The load bearing ring, providing a metal-to-metal seal at the
pipe flare, eliminates the possibility of mechanical damage to the PTFE
flares due to over-torquing. After installation, the system is
maintenance free. The metal-to-metal seal provided by the loading
bearing ring contains the conveyed media in the event of a fire. HIF
has been tested and is a Factory Mutual approved PTFE lined pipe system. |
