Resistoflex Plastic Lined Piping Products

All Plastic liners used in Resistoflex plastic lined pipe,
fittings, and valves
are approved for food services as per the requirements established in the
Federal Register. The only exception are valves lined with PFA.

Polypropylene (PP) Lined Pipe, Fittings, Valves, and Spacers:
21 CFR 177.1520 (Olefin polymers). See Note 1.

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) Lined Pipe, Fittings, Valves and Spacers:
21 CFR 177.1550 (Perfluorocarbon resins).

Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) Lined Pipe, Fittings, Valves and Spacers:
21 CFR 177.2510 (Polyvinylidene fluoride resins). See Note 2.

1. Includes: unpigmented and orange pigmented resins.

| Often times, there are requests for the
FDA status on the diaphragm materials used in Resistoflex plastic lined diaphragm
valves. the only diaphragm offered by Resistoflex that is approved for food services
is the PTFE faced diaphragms. The PTFE faced diaphragms
conform to the same Federal Register code as Resistoflex PTFE lined pipe and fittings.
At this time no other diaphragm materials offered by Resistoflex are approved
for food service.
