Manually Operated PTFE Clamp Valves |
- Fully closed: provide bubble-tight shut off
- Fully opened: high flow rate and such minimal pressure drop that they
become virtually an extension of the pipe itself.
- Manual positioning in an intermediate position for easy throttling.
- Low coefficient of friction of the PTFE tube element outperforms
most other valves in many corrosive slurry applications.
- Readily repaired with standard replacement kits, available at a
fraction of the cost of a new valve.
- "A" kits consists of all components of a PTFE clamp valve, factory
assembled and tested, except the body halves, body bolts, hand-wheel
and shear pins. A Clamp Valve can be rebuilt with an "A" kit in a
matter of minutes.
- More economical "B" kits contain the PTFE tube element, PTFE
reinforcing jacket, teardrop shaped inserts, radius clamps and lift
forks, all preassembled, ready for installation in the yoke and
compressor. Also furnished are lift forks studs, links, link pins and
retaining clips.
