Business Line Manager
Resistoflex Flexible Products
Business Unit and Location Marion, North Carolina
The Flexible product range is a global product brand of the ChemPharma Group; serving demanding applications in high purity and corrosive environments primarily in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and biopharm markets.
Principal Responsibilities:
Develops and owns the long-term strategy plan at the regional brand portfolio level and priorities for the Flexible product range.
Develops and owns product line pricing strategy, profitability including Distributor inventory levels in the region.
Provides sales target opportunities in terms of application, geography, and competitive position and supports these with how to win sales tools.
Owns SI&OP forecast and the accuracy of that forecast.
Develops demand review summary for SIOP.
Assists VP/GM with SIOP process.
Supports the Value Stream and (business unit) sales activities in achieving the planned sales and margins for the products.
Identifies new product development, pipeline and prioritization, and researches new product ideas.
Works with the marketing manager to develop product promotion plans, advertising, brochures, technical documentation and product application
    training material.
Provides an interactive / informative dialogue between sales, Value Stream, customers and to constantly evaluate the state of the market (Market
    Trending & Business Intelligence).
Maximizes product opportunity through leadership of the process designed to manage and steer products through the product life cycle.
Interfaces with sales channels and customers to determine product, product support and service needs to meet existing and emerging market
    needs and respond to these, including the VOC.
Responsible for new project development / launch of promotions.
Develops product related training materials and provide training for the Value Stream, sales channels and others as required.
Monitors competitor marketing and pricing activities, and develops counter strategies.
Identifies and develops product support material requirements and provide content and design brief to Marketing.
Develops with Sales Manager the appropriate channel strategy and defines preferred sales channels.
Develops strategy and annual operations plan for product lines.
Creates and executes business models.
Establishes DOA for pricing.
Responsible for approving tactical day-to-day MRO pricing and annual contracts pricing.
Establishes transfer pricing.
Accountable for SP by product line.
Performs competitive benchmarking.
Assists Account Manager / Sales Engineer with local account management.
Assists Regional Sales Manager with regional account management.
Assists Sales Director to establish sales plan budget for region.
Responsible for approving changes in orders.
Assists Account Managers / Sales Engineers with pre-sale and post-sale technical support.
Provides internal and external product training.
Assists Regional Sales to identify projects and prospects, and pursue projects.
Assists Customer Service Reps with quote generation.
Analyzes project wins and losses.
Develops demand forecasts and compiles consumption market data.
Determines market size and market growth rate.
Determines strategic direction of market growth / dynamics.
Assists Marketing and/or Sales Manager in generating, developing and funneling leads.
Assesses impact of leading indicators and competitive research.
Assists Vertical Manager with application / segmentation activities.
Assists in the development of annual ChemPharma operating plan.
Develops product sourcing strategy and matrix.
Assists Marketing with managing marketing expense budgets.
Assists Marketing with approvals and execution of exhibitions.
Assists VP/GM with project management / gate tracking.
Assists Sales with follow-up on open invoices.
Responsible for MRO execution.
Participates actively in the Quality and OpEx processes including project team involvement, problem solving, and recommending solutions to
    improve and enhance the quality of departmental and/or company-wide activities.
Travel requirements 40% to 50%.
Qualifications/Experience:
Educated to degree level in a technical and business related subject e.g. Engineering, Manufacturing or business Systems and Marketing.
At least 5-7 years experience in Product Management for a technical product.
Exceptional marketing and analytical skills.
Knowledge of different sales strategies.
Industry experience preferable.
Experience with product life cycle.
Ideally certified or trained in operational excellence or Lean Manufacturing, and the use of its tools.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English, including technical and business terms. Able to communicate in other languages an advantage.

Business Unit and Position Summary
Location: CRANE ChemPharma Resistoflex

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for assisting and supporting the Human Resources Manager in all facets of human resources including benefits administration, recruiting, policy implementation, reporting of information, employee relations and coordination of training and employee development. This position must demonstrate a high-level of integrity, a strong depth of knowledge, and a pro-active approach to employees.
Principal Responsibilities:
Assists the HR Manager with the day-to-day administration of benefit programs, such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, and 401(k), including enrolling, terminating and modifying employee benefit coverage. Serves as first line of contact for employees regarding benefit questions or requirements. Works closely with third party administrators.
Performs new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals. Ensures that new employee paperwork is processed and follows through to ensure that all benefits are being reflected properly.
Handles requests for verifications of mortgage, employment, benefits, and other employment information.
Assists in recruiting qualified candidates through newspaper advertising, approved recruiters, and other recruiting sources. Coordinates activities required during recruiting and interviewing process. Attends job fairs when appropriate. Also assists in the termination process.
Involved in the interviewing process and assists in the selection of qualified candidates to fill vacant positions. Requests employment verifications and reference checks and obtains all required checks prior to extending an offer to candidates.
Maintains files, forms and database information associated with personnel, benefits, general information and recruiting.
Assists in the preparation of reports that reflect headcount, new hires, terminations, turnover rates and any other reports as required.
Updates and maintains Human Resource Policies, Procedures Manual, and Employee Handbook. Ensures that revisions are distributed to appropriate staff members/employees in a timely manner.
Follows through on all resumes and applications received for Company positions to ensure that proper correspondence is sent to applicants. Maintains resume and application database.
Coordinates employee relations issues with Human Resources Manager to affect prompt and appropriate resolution.
Routinely audits Company-owned personnel files and employment law postings for accuracy and adherence to established guidelines and applicable federal and state laws.
Maintains acceptable attendance database records in accordance with established policy.
Files Workers Compensation reports and maintains OSHA logs.
Maintains EEO logs and assists in preparation of AAP.
Participates in Safety Committee meetings and maintains safety logs and records.
Maintains Workers Compensation statistics and assists in resolving WC issues.
Attends other meetings and seminars as required.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Some travel required.
Major Challenges:
The generalist role requires an individual to quickly change and adapt to new priorities.

Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field.
2-3 years experience in Human Resources preferably with PHR or SPHR certification.
